Warranty
All Allen Fly Fishing products are guaranteed. We are proud of our quality and workmanship and proudly back it with a warranty to make sure you're never left high and dry. We offer a warranty program for all manufacturing faults and defects to the original owner. All incidental and wear and tear damages are covered under our repair and service program.
All warranties are covered under the discretion of Allen Fly Fishing products. If it is determined that the issue was a result of alteration, incident, neglect, or normal wear and tear, we will repair it for a fee.
Reel Warranty
- All reels, except the Source reel are backed by our lifetime warranty to the original owner.
- Damage by dropping, treading on, or otherwise striking the reel is not covered under warranty.
- Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty. This includes but is not limited to bearings and other moving parts.
- Saltwater damage is not covered under warranty. We highly suggest rinsing all products after use in saltwater.
1-Year Reel Warranty
- Source Series reels are backed by our 1 year warranty to the original owner.
- Damage by dropping, treading on, or otherwise striking the reel is not covered under warranty.

Rod Warranty
- All rods are covered by our limited lifetime warranty to the original owner, except for Source and Prelude Series Rods.
- Source and Prelude Series Rods are covered by a one year warranty.
- Rods broken by incidental damage of any type are not covered by warranty. New sections may be available for purchase if available.
- Saltwater damage is not covered under warranty. We highly suggest rinsing all products after use in saltwater.
Warranty Claims
Our Warranty is only valid for the original owner. A rod or reel that was purchased second hand will result in the item being returned to you at your cost. Loss or Theft is not covered under our Warranty program.
Rods:

How to file a claim
Gather the following information and send us an email to info@allenflyfishing.com
- Take a few high quality pictures of the rod. We need at least (2) of the break and (1) of the label section of the rod.
- Gather your Order Number for the purchase. This can be found on your receipt or other email correspondence pertaining to the order.

Heritage/($45) + Shipping
Compass/4-8wt ($45), 10wt ($50) + Shipping
Volant/4-8wt ($50), 10-12wt($55) + Shipping
Altus/($70 per section) + Shipping

Repairs
To send in a reel for repair, please send the Reel to the following address along with detailed information of the issue:

In the event a repair fee is necessary, the repair fee will cover any services performed on the reel, internal parts, and is inclusive of return postage, with the exception of major component replacement such as the frame or spool. If an alternate address is required for return, please note this in the package.
